It has been ages since we have had a good rain fall! Am I right?!?!  Well last January we were blessed with a wonderful bride and groom who didn’t let the rain stop their outdoor ceremony.  Moments before the wedding they made the decision to keep the ceremony outside.  The rain had all but stopped and they made the call.  Guest were seated to a cloudy view of the LA mountains and it was so cozy and romantic.  Sam, all the groomsmen and bridesmaids made it down the aisle but the moment Christina walked out with her father the clouds opened up and started to drizzle.  The drizzle slowly turned into a bit more of a rain and the ceremony ended with friends and family huddled together under umbrellas to stay dry.

Being California wedding photographers it is easy to have perfect weather all the time.  We get used to always having golden light and not having to juggle umbrellas, bags to cover our cameras and wondering if at any moment will our camera stop working?! Every wedding is special, moments happen and they can be out of our control.  When these moments happen we tend to find a bit more love than we were expecting.
