  • How many modules are there?
    There are 7 modules with a ton of content. Each module is broken into a bitesize digestible video that goes over each subject in depth. There is also a full PDF for you to have open alongside the videos so you can get the most out of the course.
  • What can I expect from each module?
    MODULE 1. Will be as basic as it gets with an Intro to Super 8. History and why the heck we shoot it. In MODULE 2. Has all you need to know to get started with Super 8. What cameras to pick, best types of film, how to load film, focusing, battery life, and more! In MODULE 3. Will cover how to film, shot lists, good camera movements, and what to avoid, MODULE 4. Is where it starts to get really fun! We will go over Super 8 Production, lighting and audio, ceremony, cocktail hour, portraits, and reception. We will go over every part of the day and when and what to capture. In MODULE 5. It's all about Sending film to your lab, developing and scanning it. Now on to the fun part! MODULE 6. We will take a look at editing Super 8-only films as well as adding Super 8 to a feature film. Creating extra edits for the planner, florist, and venue to set you apart from the competition. Finally in MODULE 7. We go over all the Pre-Pre Production, what to do for social media, how to work with your couples, and what to do when things go wrong!

There wasn't a class for them, they use trial and error just like we did. The difference is that now there is a class for you so you can get the most out of every second.
  • I have a super 8 camera and have shot a couple rolls of film. Is there anything in the course for me?
    YES! Even if you have shot a handful of rolls there is information in this course for you! Super 8 is tricky and we are still learning new things every time we shoot. We will help you navigate the shots to get, the sounds of your camera, how often to change your batteries, mailing out the film, editing, and attracting the right couples. There are so many amazing take aways and we want you to dive right in!
  • I shoot super 8 and already have a system? Is there something in here for me?
    If you are already super comfortable with film then the information in this course is probably already something you know. We cover the basics so that anyone can shoot a roll of film. Even your neighbor.
  • Is there a Facebook?
    Oh yes!! We believe that connection will make us all better in the end. Once you have purchased the course you will be given a link to join our private Facebook community. This is a place for learning, growing, and sharing the latest films that you create. If you ever feel lost or stuck this the place for questions.

    This is truly our favorite thing ever! We are able to tailor everything to fit your business to a T! Before our call, we send out a questionnaire that will help guide us through the call that we will have with you. During the call, we will be taking notes and making action plans so that by the next morning you will have an in-depth look at where you what to go and how to get there. After the call, we will send you a long email with a recap of everything that we talked about, links that we think might help solve problems, and reference to whatever else we may have chatted about.
